Audio Visual Technician - Full Time

THIS POSITION IS 40 HOUR/WEEK FULL-TIME

COMPENSATION: $18-$25/hour

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, low voltage wiring, equipment installation, AV rack setup, TV wall-mount installations, home theater, whole home distributed audio, network installation/setup, access control, and control system programming for Savant, URC and Lutron.

The right candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, speak and write fluent English, and must be able to communicate with clients in an extremely professional manner.

Qualifications:

2+ years of residential or commercial low voltage experience, including pre-wiring, A/V systems, CCTV, security, or card access control systems. Commercial AV system and high voltage experience a plus.

Proficient with network configuration and administration

Mac, PC, iOS and Android experience

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Savant, URC, or Control4  Programing Experience ( Preferred )

Lutron Programming ( Preferred )

Certifications and formal CEDIA training are a plus.

Professional appearance and excellent communication skills

Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. and work on a latter

Utah driver license, and a clean driving record are required.

Reliable transportation and own tools for the industry are mandatory.

All applicants must be willing to submit to a background and drug check.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Multiple locations (primarily Utah and Salt Lake Counties)
